Attract, Hire, and Retain employees. A panel of HR experts will present strategies that have been successful at their companies in building their bench strength through attracting qualified employees, hiring the best, and retaining these new hires through career path and development strategies.
- Evolving Leadership Roles as Companies Grow (Principals and Executives)
Listen, question, and comment to two owners who have grown their businesses and how this growth impacted their leadership roles. These dealers have grown their businesses from single store operations with $5MM to $10MM in total revenue to multi store operations with $100MM+ in revenue.
- Roundtable Discussions focused on Departmental Best Practices (All)
Tables will be set up by Department with an experienced facilitator to lead the discussion on best practices and problem solving in that particular department (Sales, Service, Rental, Parts, Finance). To prepare for these sessions, participants will be asked to submit their current/future challenges related to that department. These challenges will be sent out in advance in order to prepare for impactful discussions.

This presentation will present leaders with an understanding of the difference between coaching and micromanaging along with specific strategies and action items.

The “Early Bird” cost for the 2017 Currie Best Practices Summit is $950.00 per person, for current clients (after September 1st the cost will be $1,149 per person). Special pricing is available for companies who are registering two or more attendees—call the Currie team for details about pricing. Registration fees include entrance to all meetings and summit events. Also included in this fee are the Welcome Reception (with cash bar), Continental Breakfast on both days, plus lunch and dinner on Day One.
